While the WCGA continues to support junior girls’
golf at all levels, our main emphasis is on
developing programs for younger girls.
continue to grow, it is important for girls to
become involved at an early age. In working
toward this end, the WCGA has committed to two
the Carolinas.
First, the WCGA conducts a championship each
July for girls who live in North Carolina and
South Carolina, and who are rising high school
sophomores and younger.
Second, the WCGA has pledged to support the new
LPGA-USGA Girls’ Golf sites in the Carolinas.
